Since 1990, the husband & wife team of Tom & Laurie Reese have fused their diverse backgrounds into a unique style.  Their eclectic style combines elements of classical, jazz, celtic & folk music, and creates a new sound, dubbed "Folk Fusion." A high level of musicianship combines with a strong creative urge, and MuZette takes flight into musical fantasy.  This combination of an award-winning composer & a classically trained cellist engages audiences of all ages.  Their repertoire includes standards in jazz, classical, celtic & folk music in addition to originals. They have produced several award-winning CD’s, including a 2004 recording of their duo work, titled An Early Snow.

GigMasters 2009 Rising Star Award Winner         MuZette just won the Rising Star award at Gigmasters.com for Best Folk Duo in the US & Canada!
